Yea they are a pain in the bum! Still it passed so I'm good. Yea I don't want to draw more attention to it, I'm sure I'll get a couple of stops when it's done. It won't be on thier "snooker list tho" ha :)

so ive now swapped my seats, they took longer than expected as the frame on the guy i was swapping with wasnt the same as mine. new holes in mine and plates added to his. they are also not as correct as when i first saw them, i was probably too excited :) ha! but what we have to remember here is these where free no shipping etc, and if i ever get around to reupolstering i have the correct pattern now not like before.
i snapped a bolt getting the old rear one out oops! mr drill was helpful tho ha

again wrong pockets but i think this is down to the original owner making these seats to get the sahara look. you can see old ugly 90's material in the rip

im happy with them for the moment and to the un trained eye they are correct, but it will bug me :s

what i did get from him was the side steps too, i was more excited about these as they are hard to find ha haa & he was going to chuck them so i got them for free too :D

i also took his old lights as he was putting in LED ones. now as mine has been imported for some dumbass reason they decided to add lights and remove or move others  !!!! i hate the boxes on the front flares so im looking into how i can change them to side light in the headlight & signal light to the one in the grill. the thing that puzzels me is why why move the rear ones just slightly over & drill holes? thats more filler for me to do ha haa!!
my plan for the rear is get USA lenses (all red with reverse) and make the unidentifed/ now identified ambers to be my signal lights as thats the colour legaly i need to run :D

so what next??? hmmm make the light bar maybe? and find the 5th wheel then paint :O ive got poss soft top swap & i think im going to sell the hard top i have no place to store it & i prefer the soft top look i think....

Wow all sorts of differences on those uk rigs. Good job. Those are some crazy looking rear light surrounds, I don't think I have ever seen those before. Good idea on the rear ambers as turns since that is your requirement!

Yup very annoying! There are ways round it tho & I think it will work well. But the jeep I got the seats from etc was from Canada so that one got away with none of the ad ons. the lucky jeep ha. I was going to try n get his half doors off him & I'm sure he would have if he didn't look into it... Like I said before the previous owner of his had spent allot of money on it, the seats getting done etc but on the doors was a airbrushed picture of the jeep & mountains signed by the artist. It turns out these are now worth a fair bit because of the artwork. Poss £1000 wow!!! I woulda just painted over them ha!
But all his lights are in the right place so I got to see in person what I need so that was good. U never know he might give up more stuff :)

Nice. Slightly larger than the stock wheel size... are you going to get all 30" wheels or not care about matching size if you use this for your spare?

Is it larger? It's 15"... I don't mind if the wall is bigger as long as it looks the part ha haa. I'll prob try and get the size I have on there now tho it looks right. I might need new suspension tho the springs r nearly horizontal position :O
