Come on man you don't have to be like that I just don't see a reason to treat people nastily on an internet forum that is intended to help people out.

The plates I'm making are just going be cut aluminum, since all the blank plates I've been able to find have oval slots instead of regular holes.

And the design WILL be better than the last one I posted.

You know it!

I can't wait to see those.. as mine is a bit orange, and the ovals are annoying.
thefewtheproud wrote:The plate looks cool, kinda like the orange background for the dinosaur. Oh by the way, I saw on JeepForum that you gave boomerjinks the color code for the door panels and you said you got your own door pockets. How did you get the pockets? Did you have them made? I would like to know what my options are in case I ever have to replace them in the future.
My doors are from a Sahara, so I have a set. I say anything else right now about replacements.

I have a better shot of the screen used 12 plate somewhere, that's what I used for the "12" on my plate. Lemme see if I can dig it up.

That's the way to go! That way you can customize them so they hold more stuff.

Man. The Jeep has been neglected this week.

I have been working non-stop for the past week, and have a bit of time off starting on monday. I have so many parts that have yet to be installed.. even parts that I bought the first week of owning the Jeep. Crucial parts like: Rear Shocks, Rear Drums, T/C Seal, Steering Damper, Swaybar Endlinks, Swaybar bushings, etc.

And I still have to do that frame repair. I'm nearing the end of a tank of gas.. so hopefully I can get down to the end of that, and then remove the gas tank and get started on that. It shouldn't be more than a days worth of removing the tank, and pulling trim panels before I can weld the plates in.

I also desperately need to get my softtop hardware cleaned up and installed. Its been raining quite a bit.. and I hate relying on my rain cover.
