How's that plastidip holding up? I'd love to do that to mine and save a few bucks.

I'd also like some honest periodic reports on how it holds up.

Its fine, but she hasn't been out much we had a snow storm come through and its been cold, so she has really only been out twice. The people on the plastidip forums leave these on for 2 years and they are fine. I don't expect any issues unless you purposefully try to mess with it.

Did you tape over any plasti-dip?
If so how long did you let it dry and what kind of tape did you use?

Hey, I saw that you Plasti-dipped your rims. How did you go about doing this? I need to get my wheels powder coated, but I don't have the funds as I just got a full paint job. Any tips? Do I need to remove my tires or just tape off?

Super clean the rim first. Overspray right onto the tire. It peels right off when you're done leaving a nice clean edge next to the wheel. I controlled overspray with a piece of cardboard but it was breezy.
You want at least 5 layers so it peels easier.
Took me pretty close to 1 can per wheel.
