Spent the last 2 days prepping for paint. Yesterday I got the windshield cut out and removed all the factory stripes/decals
spent today on body work and sanding, also applied new seam sealer where needed
I bought my sand beige paint and performance red yesterday. Tomorrow I hope to primer the body and work on sanding the trim, doors and tailgate (still waiting on rear hinges to arrive, USPS is extremely slow taking a week or more for priority mail to arrive).

Luckily the temperature warmed up just enough today and I was able to spray some primer to the main body, its starting to look like something...

Taking advantage of the warmer weather once again, I rolled the Jeep back out side today. Fixed 1 small ding on each door, sanded them down then primered the doors, tailgate, mirrors and side trim.
drilled the holes for the ball mount of the antenna and test fit the bolts
Stuck the tail light on for mock up of the rear fog light location, picked a spot I liked and drilled 2 holes (wires and bolt) into the body for mounting (due to the increased weight of a larger metal light vs the smaller plastic and the fact that I will venture over rugged terrain, I opted to install the lights into the body for rigidity).
trim and mirrors, primed and sanded
Body primed and sanded, waiting for paint, will tomorrow be the day ???
