Advice Needed for Jeep Purchase

Hi All,
Just after some advice to start my own Jeep project. Due to the costs here in Australia for a paint job, I'm looking at doing a vinyl wrap for the vehicle. Any one recommend doing it this way?

Also, any particular issues with the Jeeps that I should be wary of, before purchasing? Have already been warned of the potential rust issues.

Welcome! I have very limited knowledge of the availability of Jeeps in Australia, but I think I've heard YJs are pretty hard to come by down there.

As far as wraps go, those can be pretty expensive too. Have you considered Plasti Dip? People have done it here pretty successfully.

watch out for the 4cyl engines they like to blow rods around 180k miles sometimes. The 5 speed on the 4 cyl will also lose its 5th gear guaranteed, if it hasn't lost it already by the time you but it. and be aware that your 4wd vacuum switch might be broken, but that's simple to fix.
