The opening scene seems to be stock free but when he's attacked by the raptors he unfolds the stock before its face nom nom nom time.

There could easily have been more than one SPAS in the film. The first one does look like it has no stock, and this may be the resin prop. The airsoft copies come in all styles. In addition to cheapie all plastic ones, some are metal, and nearly indistinguishable from the real thing -- save for the flourescent orange muzzle brake.
I've been pricing originals on Gunbroker, and they hover around $1200.00 or so. Not a cheap shot gun, but having the ability to pop off loud blanks could be useful in some scenarios.
