Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
Figured it was time to upgrade the rear fogs.
The button that holds the strap had come loose, that's now fixed.
My parking tag disappeared. I redesigned it and will attach it on the day of the event.

Those rear fogs are looking good! How did you end up wiring them up? Through the brake light housing or the body?

According to the movie jeeps they were wired through the body. So I did it that way. It's also much easier in my opinion.raptorwrangler wrote:Those rear fogs are looking good! How did you end up wiring them up? Through the brake light housing or the body?

Did you just ground it to the metal inside the tail light?

Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
The bolt should act as a ground. My previous light had 2 wires, one for positive and the other ground. I have yet to wire the new ones since the connectors were different. Ill try tonight to see if it grounds properly.heartyfield wrote:Did you just ground it to the metal inside the tail light?
Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
the lights I got (not screen accurate but close) have only 1 wire. they are grounded through the mounting lug.

I like the new lights and that you wired them through the tub. Exactly the way i would have done it. Good work sir!

That old one has seen some use and the new one looks great! I was thinking about buying a new one off of ebay. The quality of mine is getting worse from use as well.
