Re: Grnjp88's '93 Sahara #28
ya that makes me ponder also how much longer the 4 banger in mine will last......that really really sucks though since it probably wasnt a plan on your part to do anything in the engine department.....

The green bulbs for the dash I found at Auto Zone.
And, no, I hadn't planned on any drivetrain mods. I figured, with only 108,000 miles on the clock there was plenty of life left in the old girl.

I ordered my new engine from S&S today. Should be here in about a week!
Remanufactured 4.0 with a 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty:
1991-1995 Jeep Wrangler Engine - L6, 4.0 L, 242 CID; Our Remanufactured Engines Backed By 100,000 Mile / 7-Year Warranty!
All the used ones I found locally were either in poor shape, the seller flaked out, or it would not work for my application. At least having a warranty will provide some peace of mind.

That's the truth. New paint, new top, new tires, new engine... I'm gonna start running out of things to replace.

Any rubbing on either of your guys Jeeps? Thinking of doing either 30 or 31 BFG AT''s on mine as well.

I get some rubbing when the wheel is turned almost to full-lock, but I hear you can just put some washers on the stops to prevent that.
