Okay, gonna have to forget about this for a while. Sold that one and it looks like I won't be able to get a credit application for anything over 100,000 miles... I'll see about keeping updated on doodads and other things I pick up for when I finally do get a Jeep some year down the line...

I have the opposite problem. I have the jeep but getting parts is becoming a problem. You would think that with all the boneyards around southern california, i would at least be able to find a correct rollcage or rims. Ebay has what I need, But If I am going to shell out the big bucks. I think I will build something more Iconic.....maybe a Batmobile or Batcycle. I think I will start looking for stuff after the holidays. Until then I have red rims on a green Jeep....Merry Christmas!

the rims came on many cherokees also. try craigslist or a pull-apart yard. I got one at a pull-apart for $25 with a tire
Go ahead, make fun of my JP jeep. Then all of a sudden a T-rex comes out of nowhere!!!!!!!!............The jeep only sets 4, who's laughing now?

I have tried Pick-a-Part, Pick Your Part, Ecology Auto wrecking and Craigs list. 1 set on craigs list, but they wouldn't return e-mails or calls. They're freaking take offs. It shouldn't be this hard. The cheapest one I found on Ebay today was 66 dollars with 21 for shipping. Maybe I should find someone who has them and swap in the middle of the night

Well, its been a while since I last checked in and I'm still on the search. Found a few locally but due to circumstances I'm not able to jump on any right now. So, until I can get a real Jeep to start my project, this will have to do. Not the best painter in the world but I did what I could to make it look right:
