Which paint and colors did you use for the tan and red? Got around to picking up a Barbie Jammin' Jeep yesterday. Also, where did you get the headlights for the YJ conversion?

i actually used left over paint from my full sized conversion so this jeep is the correct sand beige poly in low gloss
red is just a spray can from a local hardware store, i will get the actual color and brand tonight when i get home

What did you do to prep the plastic?

i took a green scotch brite pad over the whole body and then wiped the entire jeep down with paint prep adhesion promoter
i even taped on the base coat to do the red stirpes and the paint stayed put when i pulled the tape

Are you using the stock front bumper? Does the winch you picked up fit between the front fog lights?

Hopefully resuscitating this old thread! I was wondering what paint color you used for the red paint? I literally have the exact same Barbie power wheels jeep and would like to mostly follow your footsteps!
