Here we go my jp jeep project

starting my jp project got most of the parts i need. so i have now started to dismantle it im going to temp fit the new parts to check for fit then get them painted remove the tub next then rebuild and refurbish all the mechincals ive changed the front to get it looking right (US spec) no more lights on the fenders now have headlight/side lights all in one heres what im starting with

due to my other car breaking had to put the jeep back together for now heres how she looks so far

Looks Awsome is that the real light champagne poly (sand beige) color it looks slightly off

hi there i thought that myself but that is sand beige low gloss ppg paint may add another coat when i do the tub and see what happens
having said that it was dark and wet when i took the pic

Sometimes it's hard to tell the two apart. In just the right light it's hard to tell the difference between my Jeep (light champagne) and ratrace427's (sand beige).

Looking good, btw.

With the weather you have out there, your Jeep is always going to look EXACTLY the way the Jeeps in the movie did! Great work! I can't imagine how difficult it must be to tackle this kind of a project over there, I'm sure we take shipping rates from Quadratec for granted.

Yup it's the only thing that slows me down & finding bits. Morris 4x4 is my go to place good shipping rates n fast overseas :).

finshed for now time to get all the parts for the next part full body off and frame resto once i find a car to use while its off the road
