Re: Colorado JP #29
I got a letter from the state. My custom Plates have been approved... I'll be rocking JP 29 as soon as they process the fees and make the plate. State says 10 weeks.... boooooo, I should have started that process months ago....
I also received my blank plates from Celebrity machines a few weeks back, and since I got approved from the state for JP 29, I put the numbers on my JP plates. WOO HOOOO

I was so excited for my state plates, but then I didn't care for them as soon as the ones from celebrity machines arrived
Re: Colorado JP #29
So.... I've been messing with the light bar I got a bit. turns out it was for a TJ, as the bolt holes on the mounting plates line up with the TJ windshield pattern not the YJ one. (TJ pattern is offset, YJ they are in a straight line). Also the mounting plate itself is 3.5" deep. Which means I have enough extra space to trim it down to the correct 2", and then redrill the holes. And its old and rusty, and even though it is a 3 piece bar it is completely rusted together......
Am considering having one made instead of dealing with this one.

yes he has been considering selling his spare... of course that would require alteration since it it very tall..... but an option for sure. My neighbor's son is building a sand buggy with a full cage and he has a pipe bender, so I am thinking about pursueing the free other than supplies route...

What Dom tube is the light bar made of 120 bucks is a bit high what I wound do Is go the scrap and get the tube yourself so the guy dose not charge you for new cost if you were closer to Ohio I could make you one for 50 bucks at the most two 90 degree bends weld on a few tabs for lights and to mount to the jeep then call it a dayCOBrian wrote:I got a quote for a guy to fab a new lightbar up for me $120..... decisions decisions decisions.....
