I don't plan on cutting it down right away. It will probably stay like that for awhile
Thanks,
Adam

COMPLETED

Post by AdamT » August 17th, 2013, 11:58 pm

IT'S DONE! It's gorgeous. The only thing not screen accurate is the tires and front KC Daylighters. Why replace if they are brand new? Shop did an amazing job. Great deal. Body work and paint came to 4 grand. I'm just speechless for how awesome it is. First hour out of the shop and someone followed us home. So here's some photos. Lets get my name in orange!
Thanks,
Adam

Congrats! Very nice man. You should be proud. I hope mine turns out half as good as yours.

Where did you get the decals for the "Jeep" and the "4.0 L High Ouput"?

So what was the difference between LJ1 - Sand Beige "Low Gloss" (stock color from Jeep) and the paint you used? Matte? What did your paint guy use for the red? It looks matte as well.

Was it a single stage uerethane or a base coat/clear coat paint?

PS your light bar needs to be shortened just a bit. It will look way better (though it already is awesome!)

Man, I really love the look of the matte paint but after reading up on how to care for it, I am doubting getting it now.
There is literally a whole guide book on it.

Check it out: http://www.ppg.com/coatings/refinish/en ... t_care.pdf
