Re: FL JP Jeep 18
I'm not sure that it's every shown on screen, but I would assume that they would have installed a switch next to the Stock Fog light switch (this is what I planned to do). There would be spaces next to the fog light switch, because it would not have had the the rear wiper & rear defrost switch (being a soft top). I'm using an OEM fog switch from a Cherokee XJ (cost me $2 at a junk yard). I can post a picture if I ever get it installed.

The explorer dome at Universal isn't original, or at least is very deformed.

Re: FL JP Jeep 18
I always assumed that they used the factory wiring to the tail lights for the main power to the fog lights. The wiring harness can not hold the load of the factory bulbs and the amber fog lights at the same time, that is why the factory red ones did not work. This would have been the fastest way to get the amber lights to work without needing a separate switch. Drill a hole, cut the power wire for the marker light from the harness, splice it to the amber light lead and hook the ground from the amber up. Super fast but not street legal. I would put money on the amber lights in the movie being turn signals also.raptorwrangler wrote:I'm not sure that it's every shown on screen, but I would assume that they would have installed a switch next to the Stock Fog light switch (this is what I planned to do). If you look at the movie during the T. rex chase scene, the rear fogs were on without the rear tail lights being on. I believe the wiring was independent.
