Re: MY JP06
I agree with the wiring being a pain, I actually drilled a hole into the tub right behind the lights, and routed the wires under the lip of the tub. I can't imagine the difficulty you had trying to follow the OEM wiring (am I correct in assuming this is the way you did it?)
Re: MY JP06
You ar sortive correct ill try and get a good pic but I grounded the lights to one of the bolts that hold the soft top rail and then ran the two power wires under the lip of the body were the soft top rail bolts on both sides and then made the two power wire into one behind the center console and then ran the power to the switch

Re: MY JP06
Just bought my new cb radio I found it on eBay in practically new condition for 50$ spared no expense, it's a uniden pro538w it has a front speaker and 3 NOAA weather Chanel's and even looks like it could have been a factory option.

Re: MY JP06
Have you thought of where you're going to install it? Since I've got an AC unit in mine, I mounted it below that, however I'm looking for a new place.

Re: MY JP06
That's another reason I choose this radio it is slightly smaller than an average car radio and they make a dash install kit. And since my stereo is in my tuffy console the cb will go right in the dash

Re: MY JP06
That is a pretty good idea.. I mean sure the movie ones had stock radios... but they didn't even have the cbs in them, just the antenna. I don't think a park use jeep would need a radio at all.. (what stations would it get on a private island?) so having the cb installed where the radio goes seems totally logical.

I've had the same thought about the radios. Good to see some one else would question the thought of radio stations on a private island.COBrian wrote:That is a pretty good idea.. Actually according to the game there was a radio station but it was played over the PA system.
I'd toyed with the idea of getting a CB radio and mounting it under the center console vents with a nice PA speaker under the hood to hook up the JPJ soundboard to
