Re: CT TJ JP 05 [Complete]
Cool stuff! All that work, it makes you wonder how the original movie cars were decided on. Why did some Jeeps get a light bar shortened and the tabs cut off, while another got a plate welded on with 4 search lights? Given that the studio's seem to be so cheap when it comes to building movie cars, w...

Re: DriverGT5's 92 Wrangler
I also got around to installing my new Spice top from BestTop and frame rails from Rampage. I'll probably pony up the extra cash for an upgraded Sailcloth top at some point but this should last a few years and it looks a lot better. IMG_4119.JPG I also realized there was some noise and vibration com...

Re: DriverGT5's 92 Wrangler
When I purchased the Jeep it had no muffler or converter. I replaced the exhaust system to pass NC emissions and quiet it down. Of course, that's when I heard the noise coming out of the Transfer Case....

Re: DriverGT5's 92 Wrangler
The winch came in and I installed it. Kinda pissed it's been painted grey when it should be black and it was shown as being black. IMG_4108.JPG IMG_4111.JPG IMG_4112.JPG IMG_4114.JPG It works too! We used it a few weeks ago to pull our 30,000lbs bus out of the mud! IMG_4129.JPG IMG_4130.JPG IMG_4131...

Re: Jurassic Park Jeep Restoration
Great stuff so far! I look forward to seeing the progress. I'm going a similar route with mine so it will be interesting to see how you tackle some of the restoration parts of this project.

Re: coloring book 1993-2015
You guys are funny. You're going to make me dig out my 4 totes of JP toys from the 90's. Funny how I could never bring myself to get rid of them....

Re: DriverGT5's 92 Wrangler
The plan is to build custom tow hooks like the movie JP18 had. I'll probably make larger front holes to accommodate D Rings if needed.Jack_Fauth wrote:Looks good unfortunately there's not too many winch plates out there that work with tow hooks
so you're most likely have to lose them anyway
Great progress so far
